2024 ᐃᓱᒪᓕᕆᓂᕐᒧᑦ ᓴᓇᐅᒐᓕᐅᑎᑎᑦᑎᓂᖅ Mental Health Art Contest

IIKELC is happy to announce that this year’s Mental Health Art Contest (MHAC) is now open, starting Monday, March 18th, 2024. The art piece entitled “Guardian of the Community” was developed and created byIsaksimagit Inuusirmi Katujjiqatigiit Embrace Life Council (IIKELC) memberswith the generous help of talented artist, Becky Kilabuk. This image symbolizes a message of Safety, Hope and Support for community members. It acknowledges and identifies trained caregivers and participants who have completed a suicide intervention.
