Resiliency Within: An action place for suicide prevention in Nunavut 2016-2017 is the product of a partnership between Embrace Life Council, the Government of Nunavut, Nunavut Tunngavik Incorporated, and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, V-Division. You can download a copy of the plan below.
Ten youth from across the Kivalliq region and two youth from Iqaluit spent a week in Iqaluit to attend workshops during IIKELC’s Peer Leadership Program. The youth spent time with special guest speaker Don Burnstick, who facilitated talking circles on a range of topics including Indigenous community healing, sober living and healthy lifestyles, and cyber.

We received many beautiful and diverse entries from all over the territory in a multitude of mediums, including poetry, drawings, paintings, reels, photography, and sewing.
