The Atii Angutiit Program started in Arctic Bay last year and it ran very well… For men, it’s part of their healing process and to develop pride in themselves. I completely encourage the people and the men who go there.

This year’s territory-wide Mental Health Art Contest is now open and the theme is CONNECTION ♡

I have learned that when we talk about our problems, our mind and body exhales the problems we face.

This art piece acknowledges and identifies trained caregivers and participants who have completed a suicide intervention workshop delivered by IIKELC.

… I learned valuable skills that guided me through high school and ensured that I was taking care of my mental health along the way.

I believe leadership is about inspiring others and leading by example to reach a common goal.

We are honoured to announce that IIKELC has been awarded the Best Community Organization of 2023 by the Canadian Alliance on Mental Illness and Mental Health.

I don’t know who will need to hear this, but is it okay to set boundaries and protect yourself. You are never too young, old, or far gone to try to better yourself.

Through difficult moments in life it is important to me to recognize where I am in life and who I am supported by.

The hard moments don’t last forever even though at times it may feel that way.
