In 2021, IIKELC began conducting an environmental scan of bullying and violence prevention initiatives across Nunavut and Inuit Nunangat to identify best practices (targeting all age groups and promoting self-acceptance and respect for diversity in culture, language, age, gender identity, and sexual orientation).  Additionally, we will work with stakeholders to explore and document bullying and violence prevention skills and knowledge rooted in Inuit culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Embrace Life Week 2025<\/a><\/h3>\r\n

Every year on September 10th, we recognize World Suicide Prevention Day \/ Embrace Life Day. The annual Embrace Life Walk happened in communities all across Nunavut to show support for one another. This year, IIKELC held special events in Iqaluit and Rankin Inlet to celebrate life and promote wellness for all ages. These activities also.<\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n
