Near the end of the year of 2020, IIKELC donated over 250 backpacks filled with homemade blankets, teddy bears and other small souvenirs. The backpacks were divided and distributed to local daycares of Iqaluit, new mothers and mothers to be staying in the community, as well as families with young children. Thank you to Jabez Ministry for the generous donation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Embrace Life Week 2025<\/a><\/h3>\r\n

Every year on September 10th, we recognize World Suicide Prevention Day \/ Embrace Life Day. The annual Embrace Life Walk happened in communities all across Nunavut to show support for one another. This year, IIKELC held special events in Iqaluit and Rankin Inlet to celebrate life and promote wellness for all ages. These activities also.<\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n
