IIKELC is happy to announce that this year’s Mental Health Art Contest (MHAC) is now open, starting Monday, March 18th, 2024. The MHAC is an annual contest for Nunavut residents to create art that is meaningful to oneself, to others and inspires wellness in our communities.
ᐃᓴᒃᓯᒪᒋᑦ ᐃᓅᓯᕐᒥ ᑲᑐᔾᔨᖃᑎᒌᑦ ᖁᕕᐊᓱᑉᐳᑦ ᓇᓗᓇᐃᕐᓯᔭᕆᐊᔅᓴᖅ ᑕᒫᓂ ᐊᕐᕌᒍᒥ ᐃᓱᒪᓕᕆᓂᕐᒧᑦ ᓴᓇᐅᒐᓕᐅᑎᑎᑦᑎᓂᖅ ᒪᑐᐅᕐᖓᑦ, ᐱᒋᐊᕐᕕᖃᕐᓂᐊᖅᑐᓂ ᓇᒡᒐᔾᔭᐅ, ᒫᑦᓯ 18, 2024. ᐃᓱᒪᓕᕆᓂᕐᒧᑦ ᓴᓇᐅᒐᓕᐅᑎᑎᑦᑎᓂᖅ ᐊᕐᕌᒍᑕᒫᑦ ᐊᑭᑦᑐᕋᐅᑎᑎᑦᑎᒍᑕᐅᕙᒻᒪᑦ ᓄᓇᕗᒻᒥᐅᓄᑦ ᓴᓇᓂᐊᕐᖓᑕ ᓴᓇᐅᒐᖏᓐᓂᒃ ᐊᑑᑎᓕᓐᓂᒃ ᐃᒻᒥᓄᑦ, ᐊᓯᖏᓐᓄᑦ ᐊᒻᒪᓗ ᐱᔪᒥᓴᐅᑎᐅᓂᐊᕐᖓᑦ ᐃᓅᓯᖃᑦᑎᐊᓂᕐᒧᑦ ᓄᓇᓕᖏᓐᓂᑦ.
The theme for the 2024 MHAC is Connection.
ᑖᓐᓇ ᐱᔾᔪᑕᐅᔪᖅ 2024ᒥ ᐃᓱᒪᓕᕆᓂᕐᒧᑦ ᓴᓇᐅᒐᓕᐅᑎᑎᑦᑎᓂᕐᒧᑦ ᑲᓲᒪᓂᖅ.
Anyone over the age of 9 is invited to join the contest.
Children ages 4-8 are invited to join the contest by the colouring page only.
