Self-Care and Creative Alternatives to Drugs and Alcohol

IIKELC was proud to offer an after-school program in Iqaluit (for youth ages 12-16) that taught youth about the neuroscience of how emotions are created, how drugs work in your brain, as well as healthy alternatives to drugs and alcohol. This program highlighted a new self-care tool and coping strategy every week to help youth feel resilient and empowered.
