COVID Relief Breakfast Programs


Breakfast bags were distributed to community members over the summer of 2020 in order to help ease increased food insecurity brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. ELC offered this breakfast program in Iqaluit at the ELC office over the summer 2020. In Rankin Inlet, ELC partnered with the Elementary School to purchase healthy breakfast items for their program. In Cambridge Bay, ELC with the partnership of the Department of Healthy Living was offering breakfasts at the Youth Center from November 2020 to March 2021.
