Every year on September 10th, we recognize World Suicide Prevention Day / Embrace Life Day. The annual Embrace Life Walk happened in communities all across Nunavut to show support for one another.
This year, IIKELC held special events in Iqaluit and Rankin Inlet to celebrate life and promote wellness for all ages. These activities also included exciting prizes for winners who participated in these events!
These events could not have been possible without the endless support from the Mental Health Team with the Government of Nunavut, local stores, municipalities and community members.
