On September 10, 2021, many communities in Nunavut took part in activities to support Suicide Prevention Day/Embrace Life Day. There was a walk to remember loved ones, release of the lantern, community giving out food and drinks for families, and other local recreational activities.
IIKELC would like to thank the communities for taking lead in their activities. Thank you for comforting and supporting each other. We are here with you. We are proud of all those who helped to make this week possible and came out to support suicide prevention.
