IIKELC is proud to have hosted a variety of beading programs over the years that have led to the creation of multiple beading tutorials. We are happy to share these tutorials with all Nunavummiut; please feel free to download the documents below to assist you in future beading projects!

Previous Beading Program Examples
Youth in Iqaluit came to the office in April to pick up a beading kit which contained:
- 1 pack of seed beads
- 1 roll of thread
- 2 beading needles
- 4 earring hooks
- 1 E6000 glue
- 2 leather squares
- 2 suede squares
- 1 black storage box
All 50 kits were given away! The full tutorial is now available in English and Inuktitut for anyone to have (see above).
These earring beading kits for youth (ages 12-17) were shared with a few communities in the Kitikmeot region in 2022. Every kit came with a tutorial made by the talented Julia Ogina. Quana Julia!
