This new campaign was designed to celebrate diversity and promote inclusion, while encouraging meaningful conversations among community members across the territory.
Uvangaujunga includes content related to 2SLGBTQIA+ identities, mentions prejudiced language and covers sensitive topics. This material is intended for educational purposes only and aims to foster awareness, inclusion, and respectful dialogue.
A three-part video series that explores themes of identity, inclusion, and allyship are available.
Educators could showcase the videos to students as a way to spark dialogue and encourage youth to be inclusive, compassionate, and accepting of all individuals.
To encourage discussions as a group, there are also lesson plans that allows students to dive deeper into foundational concepts. Each video topic has a partnered lesson plan with the same title.
